About the experience

Hello everyone,

This boat, acquired in 2023 to celebrate my retirement, is perfect for enjoyable sailing with family or friends. It is equipped with all required safety equipment and a fish finder.

Ideally located in the Pertuis d'Antioche strait, sailing from Fouras allows you to discover famous sites like Fort Boyard, as well as a superb, almost deserted beach (even in August) on the Île d'Oléron, and a secluded cove on the Île d'Aix. Swimming at anchor near these beaches is always possible.

And let's not forget fishing trips! While not an expert myself, I always enjoy taking more experienced anglers out.

A discovery trip around Fort Boyard and the Île d'Aix is a possible alternative. This approximately 2-hour trip is offered for €140. When the tidal coefficient is below 60, this is the only possible way to sail. In the exceptional case of tidal coefficients below 45, the sailing window is too short to plan a trip.

To ensure everyone's comfort, I suggest taking groups of no more than 4 people.

As a precaution, the Port Sud in Fouras is dry at low tide. The sailing window is 2 hours before and after high tide, this parameter varying depending on the tidal coefficient. Therefore, I offer trips of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. I will be happy to provide commentary during the sailing in French or English.

Gilles had even planned a little snack and drinks in the cooler, a 3-star service!!! We recommend it 100%, especially since he was able to adapt without any problems to disembark the children when they were starting to find the time long and we continued afterwards in a smaller group.
