Good morning, The RM 1200 is the ideal sailboat for fast cruising in Brittany, or to go to the Isles of Scilly or the Channel Islands. The two keels allow the boat to be landed in stranding ports. Thus, many anchorage areas, often inaccessible to many sailboats, are open to you. The RM 1200 is a very good walker under sail, which allows you to envisage fast crossings. Major refit in 2023: painting of dead works, interior finishes (varnish), new mainsail, new main anchor line. The saildrive was changed in 2022. Furling genoa and staysails make it easier for you to change the canvas, and the mainsail is equipped with three reefs, lazy-jacks and a lazy-bag. A symmetrical spinnaker and a geenaker complete the package. The panoramic view of the interior is pleasant for all. The rigid cap protects the front of the cockpit, it advantageously replaces a soft top. The little ones can find a safe place there for a siesta, and in heavy weather it protects the watch team from the spray. The boat has a tender with a new gasoline engine (2023).
