Her long keel and hull with easily driven lines, combined with a powerful cutter/sloop rig, perform well in all conditions, maintaining an outstanding 8-9 knots average under sail or power. Her smooth motion and "little ship" character is enjoyed by the pure sailing fans and the leisurely laid back guests alike. On the deck there are large clear sunbathing areas. The teak slatted cockpit carries a big table with icebox for dinners or drinks al fresco. An opening transom, which can swing down to the sea level, has a built-in swim platform and steps for easy access to and from the water. The large spray hood and the bimini offer complete protection while sailing or when lying at anchor. There are 4 Double en-suite cabins available for up to 8 guests plus 1 Twin Crew cabin with its own separate entrance from the deck forward. There are total 5 WC/Shower compartments plus an outside shower on the deck.Skipper Thomas has been sailing on this sailing yacht since she was new therefore he knows her thoroughly. When the yacht is not on charter is used extendedly for family cruising. Our preferred sailing area is in the Cyclades but we also like the North Dodecanese islands near Samos. We'll suggest the most appropriate itinerary taking in consideration the guest's requirements, the length of the trip and the local weather conditions at the time of the sail.We encourage One-Way trips (No Extra Charge!) because they allow more time to explore the islands and extra flexibility for planning the itinerary. Most important though is that we can plan to sail mostly downwind making the sailing cruise a most comfortable and pleasurable experience. One of our favourite routes is to start from the picturesque port of Naoussa on the island of PAROS, sail to NAXOS -the largest island of the Cyclades- and from there proceed south and cruise all the smaller islands that the belong to the Little Cyclades group. The inhabited ones are KOUFONISIA, HERACLEIA, SCHOINOUSSA & DONOUSSA but a number of other uninhabited islets offer numerous beautiful coves ad beaches great for swimming, snorkelling, BBQing or even overnight anchoring. You have a choice to end your cruise either at the impressive island of AMORGOS (the location of the film Grand Blue) or at the rather more cosmopolitan and the youngs party island of IOSPAROS is one of the most beautiful of the islands in the Cyclades and is worth exploring. A tour of the island plus a visit to the nearby island of ANTIPAROS by car is possible even in a one-day trip. NAXOS is the largest of the Cyclades and has an incredible long coast with an endless number of sandy beachesTHE LITTLE CYCLADES islands (Koufonisia, Schoinoussa, Heracleia & Donoussa) are all pretty unique and their villages represent a quitter and a rather more laid back atmosphere of a typical Greek island. Besides the perfect sailing conditions in beautiful surroundings there are numerous coves, bays and anchorages great for swimming, snorkelling, rock/cliff diving (for the daring ones!) as well as great food in taverns by the sea or your own bbq on an isolated beach if so you wish!AMORGOS is a natures wonder! It is a great landscape, excellent for walking or trekking and for deep-sea diving. The main village is supposed to be one of the nicest in the Cyclades and there are captivating sites to visit like the monastery that is built on the side of a cliff.IOS has the most secure port and the best yacht facilities in the area. It is a great place for all water sports, excellent restaurants and, up in the village, a very lively scene for music, drink, and dance lovers!Last but not least. Our best-kept secret! In this itinerary, we offer an overnight stop at a hidden and out of the beaten track sandy bay.The treat includes an absolute feast of a dinner under the stars at a local farmers canteen that is situated right on the estate by the sea and where the boat is docked! All their products, meat, dairy and vegetables are produced right there and are excellently prepared and served by the family.Naturally we cannot reveal more but we hope youll join us!INCLUDED in the price:- Skipper's feeEXTRAS:- HOSTESS 150 per day- HALF BOARD - For up to 6 Guests with Hostess:- Breakfast - Lunch - Snacks & All non-alcoholic beverages 40 per person per day-Alcoholic drinks are provided upon request at an extra charge.PETS are Welcome and they sail free of charge!
