Barcelona's great! Great coastline, great people, great food. Please watch out of pickpockets though - very bad here. Keep a zip up bad and wear it on your front especialy in tourist areas. Other areas near to Barcelona like the Costa Brave - l'Escala, Palamos, Bergur - are all great places to sail from - with calas (small coves) you can anchor at and swim in with fish and great beaches and rocks to sunbathe on!
