All about Cannes

Renting a catamaran in Cannes is one of the most luxurious and fun ways to enjoy the French Riviera. Relax on the spacious deck while cruising the crystalline waters on the coast of the Côte d'Azur, how much better can it get? For those into film and the high-life, visit Cannes in May during the Cannes Film Festival to see all the glamorous celebs on their yachts. Although Cannes is a downsized version of its Côte d'Azur neighbor Nice, it has a more authentic provençal touch, and yet grants you ultra-flexibility with cuisine, shopping, clubs, beaches and numerous other attractions.

Cannes’ Ports and Harbors

Our catamaran rentals are situated in Vieux Port (Port of Cannes), a full-equipped and eco-friendly port with 800 berths. Located in central Cannes, everything you need is within walking distance.

Climate and Sailing Conditions in Cannes

Summer can really sizzle along the French Riviera with heatwaves dominating the July and August months, so if you prefer cooler temperatures, we suggest sailing in May/June and September. This way you also avoid the influx of summer holiday visitors!

The advantageous aspect of a catamaran is the multihull build which gives you more stability on the water. However, please be advised that the mistral winds can pick up during the winter and spring season, whereas summer is usually much calmer on the water with minimal tides.

What to do in Cannes

Whatever your idea of a perfect day, in Cannes everyone is a winner due to the multitude of possibilities on offer.

If you’re a shopper, enjoy the Boulevard de la Croisette and its luxury boutiques, or visit the Suquet Hill district, where you will find various shops including provençal themed gift shops along its cobbled streets.

Those more interested in tickling their taste buds will be pleased to hear that you really need walk no further than the Port of Cannes itself. The beauty of mooring here, is that everything is on your front door step with restaurants and cafes encompassing the seafront.

We highly recommend enjoying the region’s famous rosé or for those of you with a super sweet tooth, a Monaco beer (beer with french sirop). If you’re visiting during the summer, let your hair down and visit Le Bâoli and GOTHA nightclub, renowned for their outstanding international DJ sets.
