Itinerary Ideas for Split

This whole area is expansive in terms of ideas for your itinerary. For those renting a yacht or a motorboat rental, you might enjoy the comfort of your boat so much that staying onboard is too delightful to venture offshore. Relax on your boat charter and spend your time unwinding as you appreciate the incredible scenery. Alternatively, plan an incredible charter, reaching your most desired islands and Croatian seaside towns.
Split should be on your list whatever your plan. Walking around this city centre has an illustrious feel, given that you are walking among the ruins of an ancient palace. Dine in the fine restaurants and experience the vibrant nightlife as the sun sets and the city comes to life.
Summer sailors should visit Trogir to experience its annual summer music festival held in various public areas such as squares and even the fortress. Croatian folk and classical music is the main music genre. Trogir is situated on mainland, but also bridged onto an island, a tranquility retreat within easy reach of civilisation and mainland life.
Island hopping is a fun way of sailing and seeing as much as your heart desires. Hvar is a sensational party island whereas Šolta and Brač are more low-key, yet just as stunning. Mljet is further south and covered in luscious forest. Rent a bike for an afternoon and cycle its beautiful national park with salt water lakes which occupy approximately one third of the island.

We visited the island Brač, a few beautiful bays. I really liked the Šolta beach, with the pool bar/cafe.

Good weather around Split. A little bit urban and run down outside the old city. Nice and easy getting to Hvar and Brac islands by boat.

As first time in Split, we were surprised by the beauty of Split, the city is charming, historical and has a lot of nice bars/restaurants and hidden gems (same for Hvar). For sure I would like to come back to sail again.
