About the experience

Hello everyone, I'm a private owner offering a magnificent 14-meter Oceanis 473 sailboat for rent, accommodating up to 6 people.

This very comfortable sailboat features 4 double cabins, 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet, and a large saloon. It's perfect for day trips along the Côte Bleue, around the Frioul archipelago, and in the Calanques. We can also sail to Cassis for a weekend or to Corsica for a full week.

Equipment includes: 2 GPS units, fixed VHF radio + handheld radios, radar, iPad with Navionics software, 4 electric winches, and an asymmetric spinnaker. It also has a 600-liter water tank and a water heater.

Outside: sun awning, bimini, table for 6, swim platform with ladder and hot water shower.

Inside: 2 double cabins forward + 2 double cabins aft. Two bathrooms and a kitchen (two refrigerators, oven, two gas burners, self-sufficient with solar panels).

For anchoring, fins, snorkel, and two paddleboards are provided.

At the stern: 2.4m aluminum dinghy with a 3.5hp outboard motor.

At the bow: 25kg anchor with 50m of line on a remote-controlled windlass.

Pick-up is available from the Marseille train station or airport.

    We had a wonderful week with Stéphane! He spoke decent English, and let me do some of the sailing as I had some experience and wanted to gain more. He knows the best places to moor in the Calanques, and we appreciated his two paddle boards and that the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The boat is spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend and hope to be back in the future!

    The photos in the descriptions are accurate, Gudule is large, you will be comfortable in the cockpit or in the saloon without getting in the way. An oven and gas fires are available to prepare your meals. Gudule will impress you with its size for life on board and everything was perfectly clean. Stephane!! As a perfect and consistent captain on the previous opinions you will not be disappointed (a thought towards him, our glasses of captain's rum under a starry sky with luminescent plankton) he will offer you according to the weather and according to your choices a wonderful adventure of our coasts and creeks. Stephane is an experienced sailor and you will therefore be safe. We came back delighted with this experience, difficult to leave the edge after this little adventure of 4 days.
