    We had an amazing day trip as a family of 6 to Gramvousa Island and Balos Lagoon - the skipper and crew were very knowledgeable of the area, knew what time to visit each beach to avoid the crowds of people from the ferries and were so accommodating of all our groups needs, even letting us use the tender to help those part of our group get to the beaches and back. As with all other reviews the lunch was exceptional and we would highly recommend booking to anyone who would love to see these beautiful beaches of Crete!! Thank you for making the last day of our trip very enjoyable and memorable

    **An Unforgettable Sailing Adventure in Crete** Our all-day cruise from Kissamos to Gramvousa Island and Balos Lagoon was spectacular. Departing around 11:00 AM, we enjoyed sail through the waters, arriving at our destinations with plenty of time to soak in the beauty. The journey itself was comfortable . The crew, very professional and talented guy and Evi, the assistant, made sure we had everything we needed, from being save to refreshments, fresh fruits and soft drinks to delicious Cretan cuisine. The main meal, cooked on board, was a highlight—authentic Greek flavors. The boat was well-equipped for relaxation and fun. We had access to two cozy cabins, complete with double beds and fresh sheets, perfect for a quick rest after exploring. Beach towels, so we didn’t get our one ones. Gramvousa Island offered a breathtaking panoramic views . One of the best aspects of this trip was the flexibility—it was our private tour, so we could customize the experience to our liking. Whether swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on board, every moment was ours to enjoy. A small boat made short transfers to Balos beach easy and convenient. This cruise was the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the stunning landscapes of Crete in style and comfort.     Wonderful experience!!! We did not have the best start, late arrival and wrong location but our hosts came and picked us up with no fuss to start the day. Our hosts were wonderful, they made the experience even better with their local knowledge and hospitality. We avoided the large boat landings so that there were less people at the locations. Food was fantastic, better than the hotel and even let my little one have a go at driving the boat. Yes it’s pricey but worth every penny as the day was fantastic and enjoyed by the whole family! Would certainly recommend!!

    We had a great trip to Balos and Gramvousa! Wonderful skipper Themas and his assistant were very warm, welcoming, and professional. They gave an opportunity to perform some crew tasks which I enjoyed. They also taught me one small trick, and Themas gave some skippering advice which was helpful to me since I am learning sailing. The boat is in great condition, both inside and out, and was comfortable for our company of 6. Themas was very accommodating with respect to my parents who are in their late 70s. Lunch was amazing! Overall, we had a great time, and strongly recommend Mitropoulos. P.S. don’t forget your swimming/beach shoes. Gramvousa beach is rocky in the water and the sand on the beach gets extremely hot under the sun.

    We had an incredible day sailing to Gramvousa Island and Balos Lagoon. Our skipper and assistant were outstanding. They were flexible with our start time, provided an excellent meal, and took care of everything. We had a windy start to the day, but Themas handled it excellently, and Dimitri kept us laughing. The boat was beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better day or crew to spend it with!

    We had a lovely boat ride on the 15 of september 2023 to Gramvousa and Balos. The crew had an excellent service, there were two people helping and gave us an excellent tour around. Both of the crew members were very polite and excellent cooks. The meal we had on the boat was one of the best meals we had on all our trip. The boat was in good conditions, and we didn’t have any problems. On our case we where a family of 3 people and had to end a little bit early the trip because we had a late plane to catch but the crew was very accommodating to our schedule and made it work. We loved this experience, and I would definitely recommend if you are traveling around Crete, the views were amazing. We also enjoyed the views from the castle on Gramvousa just keep in mind the hike was a little to long.
